Description
The Human Impact is honored to bring the premiere of the documentary Poverty, Inc. to Dallas!
As the winner of 30 film festival honors and recipient of 11 awards, Poverty, Inc. is changing the way people think about helping those in need. While the film educates viewers on the current global aid model and its impact internationally, there are enormous implications for how we serve others locally. The Human Impact invites you to view Poverty, Inc. and learn along with us.
Following the screening, stick around for a Q&A hosted by the film's Co-producer, Mark Weber.
Film Description:
Drawing from over 200 interviews filmed in 20 countries, Poverty, Inc. unearths an uncomfortable side of charity we can no longer ignore. From TOMs Shoes to international adoptions, from solar panels to U.S. agricultural subsidies, the film challenges each of us to ask the tough question: Could we be part of the problem?
